Just heard about Carfentrazone-ethyl known as quicksilver. I haven't heard anything about this on the forums. Anyone used this and how does it compare to atrazine? I have St Augustine.
I don't do much research in herbicides, so I have not heard of that one. Just reading the label it looks like a "good" one (if there is such a thing) IF YOU HAVE THE WEEDS LISTED IN CATEGORY 1 on their label. Many of the common weeds (category 3 on the label) are not affected unless you mix in Weed-b-Gon. Once you do that you should not use it on the St Augustine. At least Quicksilver seems less dangerous than the atrazine products. But if it is not going to work for your weeds, then don't use it.
