Anyone want to take a stab at what these clumps/bunches of grass might be in my lawn? The yard is starting to "wake up" but these seem to be taking it to a whole other level because they are growing like weeds (no pun intended).

To me it looks like some type of fescue in an otherwise KGB lawn but I'm definitely no expert.

Once ID'd, any ideas on how to get rid of these patches?
