My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Need help for my Family Room

We are decorating our Family Room which is currently bare. The only thing we have done so far is remove the carpeting and laid down dark wood hickory 7.5" wide flooring. My husband wants to get one of those big leather media couches that fully recline with cup holders, secret compartments, etc. to watch movies/games with friends and family. Great intentions but seriously, how is that going to look? We have a one-story open floor plan home and the family room is the center of the house. I'm looking for advice on how to get him the comfort and convenience he wants without sacrificing the style and function of the room and the rest of the house. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
