Nothing premium about anything Jeldwen. Very poor choice in a window. If you are using SDL definitely get the spacer bar. Have you visited a showroom to see the look? As far as Bronze/White combo, I would not bit that is me. The frames will still be visible when open and you will definitely know they are a zebra window. Just my .02.....................

I like the choice - I have pella wood clad and my mom has jeld wen and has been happy. I have dual color - color outside looks great in relief but doesn't affect interior décor . . dual color works well when done in neutrals as you propose. Go for it!

@millworkman I wouldn't say Jeld Wen are premium at all but for a house we are looking to sell shortly, I've heard it's an acceptable window. most of the builders in my area use Jeld Wen. Correct if i'm wrong but i've heard that the company sold somewhat recently and have been operating under much better practices. Hopefully that's not someone else i'm thinking about. I'd like to stay around the $450 a window mark and we have 31 windows.

Would you have any other recommendations are far as a brand is considered or you you just steer toward a wood-clad?
