Blue would be beautiful. Like the royal in the bowl/plate on the side table. Gorgeous room!

I agree with elklaker. I'd pull in deep blues (like the deep blue in the rug) and/or cobalt like on that plate. A creamy or warm coffee color (like your chair) would be nice, too. Lovely room.

I would try the couch's two white pillows on the chairs, two textured solid blue pillows for the corners of the couch, and one long but short pillow for the center of the couch in the chair fabric.

Brenda's idea to "cross-pollinate" the colors by moving the white pillows to the chairs is spot on. Use the colors in your rug to accessorize and add more pillows. I think the blue will do it very well. I would remove the little brown chair - perhaps to the adjoining room??? Hope you plan to re-work the window treatments. They aren't doing justice to what you have going on with the rest of the space. It is time to restyle the bookcases too - 1/3 books,1/3 decor items and 1/3 open space. The potential for a stunning room is hiding just under the surface!

Jewel tone of blues and yellows...............When I look in the mirror view photo, I see the gold frame on the opposing wall (making me want yellow pillows) and I also see the blue plates on the mirror wall (making me want blue pillows).
