Can you tell me what kind of floor this is? And brand/color? How does it hold up with sand/humidity?

The flooring is 7" x 3/4" Pristine Oak Architectural Plank, Smooth Face, Wire Brush Texture, Hand applied Tea Stain, Bench Finished with UV Cured European Oil Finish. We haven't heard of any issues with sand nor humidity. The product was supplied and installed by Burchette & Burchette Hardwood Floors www.burchetteandburchette

Thank you for the quick response!! The floors are gorgeous! I'm nervous to do real wood in our beach house, but I definitely prefer the look so will look into this company. Thanks!

This house is on the beach, but I understand your concern about wood. We've had a number of clients with homes on the beach install tile that looks like wood. It's a great alternative and it holds up extremely well. Good luck in your search!

aokat15 high quality Engineered Plank should be just fine at the beach. Thats really where its made for. Humid climates or below grade in basements.

Off hand don't have product names on tiles but you can go to any reputable tile store and they should have a variety to choose from. A few years back the selections were relatively limited, but recently there has been an explosion into the market. You can even type in Wood Look Porcelain Tile in the houzz search above to get an idea of how it looks.
