We bought 2 and within a week, they developed tufts of material coming up. The rug company said these are "sprouts" that are common with these hand-hooked rugs, and just need to be carefully trimmed with sharp scissors. They said they will eventually stop "sprouting". Has anyone else had/heard of this problem?! I'd really rather not have a rug that I need to regularly trim!
