Antartide quartzite or marble

Is Antartide quartzite or marble? I love marble but have ruled it out because of the upkeep. I found two beautiful slabs of Anartide and the stone supplier insists it is a quartzite, but it really looks so much like marble I'm not sure he is correct? Can Antartide be quartzite or is it marble? Thanks
