I am looking at it and thinking, I would do the whole centre with the print fabric and then the flange all one colour. But your shams, you can do it however you like.

How come zip-zip-zip never turns out to be that quick of a project?

This was my first attempt at making shams. True, they're not difficult but i was dealing with silk and I'm a rather slow seamstress.

i switched over to king pillows for my queen bed. I have gotten rid of most of the queen/standard pillow linens but this particular one was silk and just couldn't get rid of it. Surely shams could be modified to fit my king preference.
