If there is a mirror over the console table, it would not be advisable to place more mirrors across from it.

Much there that's nice to look at. Walking in the door all the way to the fireplace... and looking the other way: the stair area and photos....!

How many mirrors there so far? [above mantel could be great place for art too] ... and a thought to add: colored lampshades repeating pillow color...

These mirrors are very nice but you already have a vertical element to the wall with the wainscoting below. How about a metal organic sculptural wall art. Like leaves or a floral..something that doesn't stick out too much from the wall. You could use a large painting.

Walking in first is the console, and opposite wall the art... might be fine. :)

You can take more space on the wall by adding candle sconces on either side of the canvas. You can use a battery operated candle with a remote if you like
