New Night Stand

I had a table I really liked that I used as my nightstand. HOWEVER, it was too big because DH couldn't open his closet door all the way. So in the back of my mind, I kept on the lookout for something that I liked that was smaller. Sunday, in one of our local shops I found IT! It's Victorian, has a small footprint, is a bit taller than the old one and I like it!

I absolutely adore it!

I like the old table but as you can see the stop for the closet door is inside the outside rim of the table. DH had to push the table into the bed to open the closet door! Not a good thing!

The new one in place! As you can see the doorstop is far away from the edge of the night table! And I like that it being so small that only a lamp and clock is on top -- not the plethora of books that is on top of the old one! My reading book and glasses are tucked into the handy drawer. The rest of my reading is behind the door.

And I was able to trade table for table! So that is a good thing!

Oh, and I can move the bed over so that the pictures are centered between the bed posts!
