Add height to backsplash in bathroom?

Do you think we should add height to either of these back splashes? The 4 inch backsplash is above our vanity and the 8 inch backsplash is above our tub. I was wondering if we should add two more inches to the splash above the vanity and raise the splash above the tub all the way up to the window?
