Depending on the area you live, you may be able to get rid of it at the local waste disposal area. In our area there are place located thought out the county that will take old oil, paints, etc. I have been able to dispose of oil from my lawn equipment this way and for the amount that I have there is no charge.

I don't know why you could not use it for external lubrication. I would not use in in crank cases, etc.

Thanks Krnuttle, I just drop the tools in the peanut oil and will see what happens. Yeasterday I took the large plastic bottle out to my shed outside and placed it into large oval pan because it was leaking once I moved it and this morning I found about 4 dead large water roaches in the pan with the spill oil, so maybe I found another use for it.

Let me know if it works on ticks. There are times in the summer when I can not go into the yard with out finding at least one tick on me when I come in. These are the tiny ones about 3/16" in diameter.

I have been here on my three acres since 1974 and I have never seen a tick on all the dogs I have had, right now I have 7 dogs out side and no ticks but I do have many fireants, roaches, snails but 30 miles north the ticks live in the large oak trees.
