Pressure treated?

We have a deck built by previous owners (unsure of when) we're going to be tearing it out and I'm just wondering if this wood looks treated I've read it will have a green tint and this wood has green where is has been exposed to weathering but it reminds me more of the same type that's on the trees if you scratch it with your nail it comes off easily have to best of knowledge do they look pressure treated? The pics are from underneath the deck and on top there is a weird paint that is literally peeling and chipping off and some wood is rotting(?I think) in places where it's come up

That is not the green of wood treatment chemicals, it looks more like algae growth. I bet it would pressure wash right off.

The underside of the deck boards looks brown and not the gray or greenish of CCA. It's possible that the deck was built after CCA went off the market and it's ACQ which is more of a yellowish color. If the wood is rotting though it may not be treated at all.

It would be easier to tell from a freshly cut surface.

Never have seen anything like that. I think you might think about replacing most of that. If the support lumber(framing) is solid, just replace the flooring lumber.

We're replacing it just wondering if wood would be viable for other outdoor uses like raised beds or posts

You could try, I'd be leery of growing veggies close to it.

Just looks like mold that will wash off. It looks like it Might be cedar which would be useful for gardening. If it falls apart during removal, then it wasn't cedar and wasn't treated.

If the wood falls apart? It is rotting /breaking through at some places on the top of deck
