You'll find several examples of RoyalChrome furniture, mostly seating but here's a pair of tables, on 1st Dibs (asking the outrageous prices usually seen there) that look like 1930s-40s design. Although the company was still in business in the 1950s, I don't know for how much longer it continued.

Judging by design and materials, I'd suggest the date of your table is within that same 1930s-1940s period. It looks like the designer may well have been Wolfgang Hoffmann.

If it turns out that this is one of his designs, that will make it a VERY NICE FIND!!!

at first sight i wasn't expressed but looking at the tag i just had a feeling? they where only asking 10.00 so it wasn't much of a gamble. i think i'll polish up the legs and see where it goes from there. thanks, again

hi vintage, thanks. i did research royal chrome and the info cgard2 was interesting, could have a treasure? i still haven't found 1 like the 1 here. the example i copied has that brushed aluminum trim. this 1 i think is lacquer? watched a couple videos on restoring lacquer finishes, i think i'm going to post it as is. i'm waiting to see if i can find an example for sale and what they would like for them?
