Bathroom Window Treatment

As you can see, this is an old bathroom and a bit of an eye sore...everything is so white, I'm considering a different paint color but I think first, I need a window treatment... looking at different shade store options and considering woven wood or roman shades...wondering if anyone has any thoughts on what would help this tiny bathroom out... if not a neutral shade color, then what?

I would used a frosted vinyl appliqué. The big box stores carry it. So in the picture, they did it on the lower half.

I agree. Frosting the window would look nice. Skip the window treatment. You can always add wall decor if you feel the space is empty. In bathrooms, I like adding color with shower curtains (if you use that), towels, and matts. Keeps the bathroom calm and is easily interchangeable.

I think the idea of a vinyl appliqué is a good one, for the sake of privacy. However, I see that you're trying to bring warmth into a cold space. Maybe a Roman shade, or grasscloth wallpaper?
