My wife and I need some help with ideas on how to address the sloping yard and eroding soil. We would ultimately like to put some retaining bricks around the front of the two mature trees (or possibly in a circular pattern around the entire tree) and likely a retaining wall along the driveway where the soil is eroding there. However, we are unsure if we should take that retaining wall along the driveway and curve it around to connect with the wall in front of the trees (potentially extending across the entire front yard, making it terraced) or try to adjust the grade of the slope to be more gradual. See the pictures. What do you all think? We are going to do the project ourselves. Thanks!
