I recently bought a home that my fiance and I are renovating. In our family room, I'm having a hard time picking colors and finishes for the ceiling and beams, along with a wall color. We are replacing the floor with a neutral wood. I was thinking a semigloss on the beams and flat for ceiling, but not sure of colors. Any suggestions would be welcome, the home is currently contemporary and we hope to make it more transitional. Furniture in the photo is from the former owners.
