What color grout?? Too many choices! :)

Hi there,

I am looking for advice on which color grout to use with my white subway tile- taking into consideration the colors of granite and flooring. Seems like gray is a popular choice- which I love pics of, but we are somewhat traditional in our style and want it to blend with the rest of our kitchen and house. I was kind of thinking about white- I know it's harder to keep clean though. So, just wondering if I should go with a bone, tan, or gray instead. Also, which size tile do you prefer? Thanks so much!! :)

Grout should match as much as possible the color of tiles. Have samples displayed next to each other.

I would choose the larger tile with an offwhite grout. There is no reason to do gray.....it will look out of place imo.

Since your kitchen already has a lot of white in it I'd go with the gray grout! And also I think the bigger tiles would look better and simplify the space a bit since u have a busy counter top. :)

And white grout always ends up really dirty and ends up looking gray (or brown) anyways

Match the tile as closely as possible. You can use grout that resists staining or there are additives that can be put into the grout mix that resist stains.

Do you have samples of the Grout colors you are looking at?

Just based off of what you said, I can understand the want for the grout to stay clean, but you also want it to match. Maybe the bone would be best since it would also run well with the counters. And personally I like the bigger tiles [=
