Hey Sammers, congrats!! I see that they are now out of stock already. I have two, a green and a red variety. The red has a few fruitlets. I treat them the same as any other citrus.

They always seen to sell out quickly, when I talked to them on the phone last time they say they only get like 10 at a time.

Australian finger lime. I got my red a year ago from Logee's. I don't know how old the green one is because I bought it from someone off Craigslist. It is substantially larger than the red. I understand that the red produces fruit earlier than the green.

Are AFL's sweet.

I have read they can be astringent. Similar to the bitterness of a key lime. I know they are quite popular in the culinary world right now since they give a unusual bead appearance and a "pop" of texture. I can't wait to try one.

My AFL is finally budding too! Tiny bright pink little peppercorns on several branches!
