Crate & Barrel Axis II sectional is pretty deep. How deep are you wanting?

I guess it works if all your guests want to sit with their feet up in the air

Some folks are taller than others! My NBA clients love deep chairs and sofas! They realize they have never sat comfortably in their whole lives! So, just depends.

Yes, feet in the air - that is exactly what I want, thank you for your opinion?

Restoration Hardware has some sectionals that are 46" deep such as their Maxwell sectional which is available in 3 depths (36", 40", 46").

Okay I am 5’9” and I like a bit deeper sofa than my 5’2” friends but really a 42” deep sofa might even be too deep for my 6’5” son and I was not kidding when I said your shorter friends will sit with their feet up in the air at seat level. Maybe if you explained why you want this deeper seat I might get it.

Because I want a very comfortable, curl up, kids can lay side by side if they'd like type of sofa for my family room. I have 5 kids all under 9, no one sits with their feet on the floor, they sprawl and hang - that's including myself and husband. I reserve more formal seating for the living room - the room never used. Ta!

Lisa G, this deep - no idea what that depth that is :)
