Glass shower tub door help

We have a 36"x72" tub shower combination. It has a rain shower from overhead, wall mount handshower on sliding bar and tub spout.

I am considering:
1) frameless panel that hinges from the wall
2) frameless panel that hinges from another panel fixed to the wall
3) frameless sliding glass door

I have young children and we do baths and showers and washing the dog frequently.

I've never had this type of door or used one before. Would really appreciate hearing about practical experiences and considerations. Thank you!

Number 2. Trying to bathe a dog and children with a fixed glass panel would be a nightmare. I had a sliding glass shower door in my bathtub/shower combo. When my grandson came along, I replaced it with a shower curtain. I could only access half of the tub with the sliding doors.

Frameless panel that hinges to a fixed panel. I would also have all of the controls moved to the accessible side and not placed where you have to reach. The controls and spout don't have to be together if you get the proper plumbing system.

That's exactly what I did, I have a fixed glass panel and I put the controls on the open end under the shampoo niche.

There is a bifold panel option available that folds right out of the way....wish we would have known about it!
