I just pulled up the ceramic tile in our kitchen along with the backer board. Underneath I exposed what like the underside of the original Vinyl floor which is still glued to the plywood. This backing of the old vinyl may contain asbestos (home was built in 1974). If it does contain asbestos can I walk on it? We plan on putting vinyl plank flooring over it. Will that be ok?
