What's wrong with my orange sapling leaves?

Hi. I've grown this minature orange sapling from a seed indoors throughout the winter with a bulb which is used for plants. I've started putting it outside since the weather is sunnier and warmer and today I've noticed that's there's white on both of the highest leaves. Hopefully somebody can help!

Looks as if the increased brightness of being outdoors damaged the surface cells of the leaves.

Start the move outdoors by placing it under the shade of a tree, or something similar. Gradually accustom to more & more light through the next several weeks.

SUNBURN. The damaged leaves will not turn green again, but new growth will be normal.

Agreed, take a week or so to acclimatize you're tree to folk sun. As Jean said, start in the shade and gradually increase the time exposed to the sun.
