I know what you mean. I go out every day and take a pip inventory. I try not to freak out when I see nothing where there should be something or when there are fewer than I had hoped. I try to just be happy with what there is and retain optimism that there is still time for there to be more!

Lol, Dede, your neighbours are not the only ones wondering:-) Only we can understand how much joy is given by every little pip we find...

Esther, every time I go outside there is progress, fascinating thing how quick they are...

Ditto about the neighbors! But it's soooo much fun!!

And every year, I say why am I doing this...growing hostas where they are not happy to grow. Most of them come back each year and seeing those eyes poking up and unfurling to the most beautiful hand painted looking leaves keeps me going and inspired. Spring is the very BEST time when things are so fresh and unblemished. Esther B- I share your joy.
