Are you sure you have diagnosed the problem correctly? Peaches can have a number of disease issues but they tend to be resistant to CAR, as do other stone fruits. CAR tends to affect only members of the rose family that are pomes (sub-family pomoideae).

My mistake! I think we had CAR on the more logical Apple plants. Peach tree had curling leaves and brown spots on the peaches. I'm thinking Peach Leaf Curl and Brown Rot?

Does leaf curl render my peaches not edible?

If a heavy infestation, it can affect fruit or cause premature drop but it doesn't necessarily make the fruit inedible....just unsightly.

Check varieties chosen for regional suitability. Independent garden centers and Oklahoma Cooperative Extension should have recommendations.

Think I'm going to try getting a bottle of Daconil and spray the entire tree with that.
