We have 1.5 bath house, so the main bath has to do it all! Currently it's really small, about 5x10. The great news is that we're renovating the master bedroom and adding a walk-in closet in what was the reading nook. So we're going to knock the wall down and incorporate the current closet space from the master into the bathroom. At that point we'll have an 8x10 bathroom. I was hoping to get a double sink and a separate shower and bath, but I'm really not sure that's possible without it being really squishy?

Any ideas would be really welcome, it's literally a blank canvas at this point. Door needs to stay on that wall but can move to centre. No window currently so we're planning on adding one. Depending where we put stuff we may do a skylight but that would involve vaulting the ceiling. Our master has a cathedral ceiling so we could bring that vault into the bathroom too. We wanted to stay away from that cost, so window will be on the wall opposite of the door most likely. With all the movement of everything in this bathroom we're not sure of the budget, maybe 25ish? Probably more lol, the bathroom is our splurge for this house so although we don't want to be crazy with it we understand it's going to be a lot.
