I already have a trumpet creeper vine on my wooden fence, and fear it might get out of control. It is still small, and I'd like to replace it with a few crossvine, but I have heard a few people in my zone complain about the lack of flowers in the third year. I'd like to hear from other successful zone 6a crossvine owners out there. I'm curious how well it flowers, whether or not it is growing in full sun or part shade, and also the soil moisture it's grown in. Thank you.
