Mosaic stepping stones

I
needed stepping stones in front of my garden shed, so I decided to mosaic some
concrete pavers. You’ll need 12
inch pavers, mortar, grout and some pretty plates from a thrift shop. Just take a hammer and have fun, It’s just like doing a puzzle.

Would they be slippery in a path? I wanted to lay a mosaic floor in my secret sunken garden at one time. Sorta make it remind a person of Pompeii. ha

Cathy, they are very cute. I want to make a path to a garden bench, this is a perfect way to do it. Thanks for the inspiration.

Cathy, I have a question you may be able to help me with. I have saved several plates that the family broke in hopes of using the pieces, but the thing that confuses me is what to do with pieces that curve inward. Both the place where plates meed their rim and bowls have sloped sides. In the stepping stones the broken edge would be pointed upward towards your feet as you walk. Do you have a strategy for including those pieces in the stepping stones?
