You get points for saving them from the garbage can. It's hard for me to see the bloomed-out bulbs tossed. I feel the same way about Easter lilies. I tell everyone around me to give me their old lilies and I'll plant outside later. They can bloom another season...then keep blooming.

After I read floral_UK note to plant them, i went back to Walmart to get more since they were so cheap. BUT they were all gone. We'll see next year tho. That is if I can remember that long! HA!
