I just got one too. It actually has 4 little plants in a small pot. Should i plant it in the ground? Im zone 4b. I put it in a 6" pot and set it outside on west. It gets morning sun afternoon shade. I see some of the leaves are looking sun burned. Is this an indoor plant? It didnt say on the tag.

No, it is an out door plant but it has probably been inside and need to acclimate a bit

That's the beauty of being in a pot you can move it around I would give it a little Morning Sun and then in the afternoon pull it and then a little bit more or sun each Progressive day taking your time . Keep it nice and moist I would leave it in a pot in your Zone it may not winter over outside this way you could put it in your garage.

Mine isnt as bright red as the photo above. Mine is more of a darker red. And the blooms arent opening up as much. I hope it doesnt die on me. I didnt water it for a week. Thats how long ive had it. I did water it today. It does have some new growth and a new bud on it. I put it in a 12" pot for now.

I have one bud that is turning brown and not opening up. Is this balling? Should i snip it off? There are 4 plants together. Should i split them up? Was going to plant in ground once it gets used to sun. you can see some of the leaves look sun burnt.The plant with the brown leaves is the one with the brown bud. It also has a new bud growing. I have it in dappeled sun/shade. Maybe its just a little stressed? The other blooms look ok.

Raining all week here and cooler temps again in 40's at night.
