I grew it from seed more than 10 years ago and don't remember how long it took. Perennials usually do take longer to germinate, and it depends on the freshness of seed and method of germination (mine was fresh seed from a friend). I suspect you're well within normal parameters at this point and you can only be patient, wait, and hope for the best. :)

ETA: I just did more searching for personal anecdotes and found two comments of interest: one noted that light helped their germination, and the other said hers took about two weeks to germinate (fresh seed).
