My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Soil Blocks - Making and Using

I just finished a 3-part blog post on using soil blocks for starting vegetables.

I'm pretty happy with the way they are working. Because of the wind and low humidity it's hard to keep even moisture and germinate seeds in the garden bed. Using the blocks puts the germination part indoors where I have better control.

Not perfect, but I'm learning.
