We had a plumbing issue in kitchen area on Easter Sunday morning and as a result, I have to replace flooring in my living, breakfast, dining, foyer and kitchen area. I have engineered wood flooring in this entire area now that is 10 years old and I have been told that it can't be repaired. I desperately need help with what to replace in the areas, colors of wood, etc.
I would like to have a slate looking porcelain in kitchen and breakfast area. Not sure where to break the types of flooring. Also, the same in my powder room.
I need ideas on color of wood flooring . Would the gray wood flooring work in my traditional home or should I stay with traditional brown? Any help is greatly appreciated!
