Well on the plus side, at least you found a place you can grow it. ;-) Many plants commonly sold in pet stores as aquarium plants actually aren't aquatics. They eventually decline and die.

Many aquatic plants can be grown in terrariums. Many aquatic plants grow better in terrariums. I agree it is a shame to sell non aquatic plants. I prefer using them as riparium plants.
