Hello all, I have a two year old Thompson grape vine. Last year it had great growth but no flowering and fruiting.

I hard pruned it this winter, leaving the two oldest shoots and their forks (four branches total). New shoots took off from the old wood this spring, and I've been training the vine up an arbor.

My biggest question is whether I pruned it correctly to encourage fruiting and flowering. It just seems the vine keeps branching over and over vigorously with new shoots but still no flowers or fruit. For care, I top dressed it with a balanced dry meal fertilizer about two months ago and it receives great water, drainage and plenty of sun, so I've ruled those out.
