The good news is that I have two
plants from 2015 flowering or in bud - only two years old, which is highly
unusual. The bad news is that none of
the imagined possibilities of exotic combinations of the traits of the
constituent genes have eventuated in this first bloom. The
flower, while pleasant enough, is unremarkable, a very ordinary orange-red. There is another individual due to flower in
a few days too, so let’s see how that one turns out.
