Can you paint? A stucco peach color would fit well, plant a lemon tree or two in front, some grasses (think 3 layers of height with plants, front to back).

Also one large pot with some tall grasses or a small tree between the garage doors

I would try to add color by painting the main door possibly a Verde green color. A wrought iron trellis in between the door and the window with some colorful roses or any climbing plant would add to the style your wanting. Could you hide the 2nd entrance door from the street. With a large group of tall trees? Window boxes of flowers on the windows above the garage would be nice. When I think Mediterranean I think lush plantings and Wrought iron. I would paint the home a clay pot color. I would add large planter in front of the window by the front door. I would also plant shrubs or plants on the wall to crawl over the front of it. Adding some very large boulders would break up the front landscape. Out from the window on the first floor.

Thanks to both ;). We just bought and paint is new so looking to spend money on architectural affordable stuff and landscape. Some thoughts include bigger lights, disguising 2nd entrance with potted palm....landscaping with palms, etc. Thinking --shutters? Window boxes? Bigger columns? Trim bigger around garage doors? Garage doors darker?

Aha! That's great to know. Some large potted plants, a bright green door would look really fun too!
Not sure if shudders go with the style...if so, then some mission style wood. Can you grow bougainvillea where you live?

Thanks Kevin. I wasn't sure about the shudders, but found some examples, so I thought I would see if they liked them. Personally, I think when you add some nice landscaping, that will do a world of good. Then as Kevin said, contrast with some black iron or something.

You have already painted the house . I normally would paint garage doors, but this house needs color and architectural statements so I would paint the garage doors the color tone of the roof and then paint a Aqua distressed door, or red or navy blue. The key here is do a dry brush finish/ distressed. On just the front door in a bold color. Think Rustic old world Mediterranean.

These would be great in front of your windows.
