Thanks for the reply. I just purchased it last week, it was still in nursery muck during the rains. I put it in the 5-1-1 mix that I was letting 'marinate' before repotting. So I haven't fertilized yet and I don't think I'm supposed to so soon. Honestly, I'm a little overwhelmed right now. Sometimes I think I know what I'm doing and then I think I should stick to petunias. Oh boy. Lol

Does your ceramic pot have drainage holes? Many decorative pots do not, inhibiting drainage and a possible source of root rot. From the cleanliness of the deck under the pot, I'm thinking that it does not. If it doesn't, I'd recommend repotting, but would be interested to hear everyone else's thoughts.

It has 3 drain holes. I just like to keep my patio clean. Lol

If you have any doubts that it is not getting the drainage and fresh air needed you can do what I do.

Thank you for the videos. Drainage is not an issue, thankfully. I was mostly concerned with the really short trunk and the thick branch coming out of the side at a right angle.

Meyer lemons are usually rooted from cuttings and look different than other citrus that have a graft. Tree looks good with good color. You might fertilize with each watering. Most recommend Foliage pro and use the recommendation for production on the label. It is not as hard to grow as you would think as long as you keep it well watered without over watering. In the summer you may have to water every day or two due to the hot weather. Just remember not to over water in the winter.

Thanks Gary. I read a lot about the Foliage Pro on other threads and ordered it from Amazon. Should be here tomorrow. I have the tree in shade right now because it was recommended after repotting, which I did on Sunday. I checked the soil today and it was still moist about an inch or two down so I didn't water it. Maybe when it's in full sun I'll water more frequently. Every day I learn something new, I just hope I don't kill it with love. Lol
