Still in a crappy rainy, cold snap, and will be on and off all week I guess. I'm sick of winter. Make it go away!!!!!! I want more of these:

VERSCHUREN ... crap I see we missed yet another volunteer oak...

...and this is an old J&P test rose that was never marketed, at least not in the USA... It's a lovely light pink that I have named "CRYSTAL PINK." Unfortunately this poor bloom is all bug-eaten!! We get these rotten little black beetles that chow on the petals in early spring.

OMG I can't believe all the weeds that I need to get pulled out of the beds! It never ends.. and the rain is making them grow like monsters!!

Love the test rose. It amazes me how they leave off such a beauty. Girl I feel your pain with rain and weeds. I just can't get ahead of them. Judy

Rain! We haven't seen any in SoCal for two-three weeks, and we may not see any again until November ;( . Would you mind filling a barrel or two for me and shipping it south somehow??

As always, your roses are among the most striking I have ever seen.

You always crack me up!! I do feel for you & the weeds/rain although I cannot complain about getting rain after last summer's drought. It was horrid! Hopefully it will ease off for you soon! Beautiful blooms as always :)

Gosh, I think we've had a week with a drop of rain. Go deep is my mantra.

I'm liking SUCCESS STORY (aka Weight Watchers Success ?) a lot.

Irisgal, yes that is aka WEIGHT WATCHER'S SUCCESS. It's a lovely rose. Goofy name, but I guess they donated to the cause the first yr it was out.
