I had a range top and wall ovens and absolutely loved them. My dream is to have that again. Lots more oven room + being on the wall is much nicer if you do a lot of cooking and or baking. Imo you won't be sorry going this route.

Wall ovens+separate cooktop vs. combined range/oven:

If space allows, wall ovens+separate cooktop offer the most in convenience and safety. We had a full range once-never again!

Cooking on the range top is ok, unless you are using the ovens. The oven heat radiating over your upper body and face is most unpleasant.

Removing food was problematic when using the low ovens...keeping dogs and kids safely away while bending over into the searing heat and safely unloading food while quickly closing the oven door was a challenge. The low ovens were a nightmare for us, as we had curious little boys and big dogs. I finally quit using the low ovens.

We now have two wall ovens and a separate cooktop and couldn't be happier.
