LOL!! You are not going to get a more definitive answer than what I provided in your first post :-) Acer japonicum or shirasawanum......one of the full moon maples. But until it gets larger and starts demonstrating some distinctive characteristics - if it does - you are not going to get anything more specific than that. Specific cultivars of ANY maple are very difficult to ID.

The first one is different than the last two. That one could be any one of thousands of varieties.

Look up Acer japonicum 'Aconitifolium' for starters for the last two.

Now that you mention Mike, there are two different maples!! Guess I didn't look as closely as I should have :-))

The first does look much more like a palmatum than one of the full moons and based on the leaf shape, coloring and congestion, it looks like one of the dwarfs..........possibly Mikawa Yatsubusa or Hupp's Dwarf. Still no guarantees, however :-)

btw, a side view might be more revealing than a shot taken from directly overhead.
