No, all my Hoyas are still babies :) the only one I got to bloom was fungii. I'm going to hang joy outside in my tree. I know how hoyas enjoy that. Hopefully then I'll get a peduncle or 2.

How was the scent on fungii? I've had australis, buotii, lacunosa and compacta bloom. The latter two were exotic angel baskets so no work there. And I'm sure it would love that. It definitely looks big enough to bloom, maybe it will this year! Fingers crossed :)

The fungii scent is heavenly! Not overpowering because it's outside in the greenhouse. My pubicalyx and carnosa are blooming also but they came that way ha!..I do have a few others with inactive peduncles but as long as they are putting on new growth I'm happy!

Hoya joy is beautiful. Is it created or an actual species?

Its a cross between Hoya laos and Hoya vitellina

'Joy' is one of my favorites. The leaves are succulent, so it's tough as nails. Mine grew a shoot right out of the bottom of the pot through a drainhole last year!

Lydia, don't you love when they come with peduncles? New growth is always appreciated! I can't wait til my pubicalyx 'Royal Hawaiian Purple' blooms. I anticipate the scent.

I had a royal Hawaiian purple many yrs ago. It was actually one of my first Hoyas. The flowers were super gorgeous!! The one I have now is still a baby so no flowers yet....Joy reminds me a little of Hoya cv Noel, Denise. Such beautiful leaves and yes, a tough one!
