Integrated Pest Management

Does anyone know if this is a "bad" bug? It's been in my office window since yesterday. New home and concerned about possible termite or other bug damage. I really don't want to use poisons! I avoid pesticides and garden/clean/cook, etc. as organically as I can. TYIA for helping ID this creature.

Neato. Looks like a larger parasitoid wasp, like an ichneumonid or something (there are a bunch of families that look similar). Definitely a good critter. Put her outside!

Well, definitely not a termite.

If you want to dispatch it, no need for pesticides. either take it outdoors (as already mentioned) or "squish".
