    Love the floors. Would they look good if I used them in a step down living room but stained the standard 3" oak flooring to match this in the rest of the house? Thanks.

    I think it would look good if you could match it. If you can't match it well it may still look good offset from the rest of the flooring.

    Thank you, Steve. Also, do you think if I tried bleaching after sanding my existing red oak floor, I may be able to achieve this look? Wish you guys were local ;)

    It's hard to say but you could probably come close to achieving this look. If you have a couple small boards you could test a couple different techniques.

    Is the finish on the floors a matte finish?

    It is a satin finish but I'm not sure what brand the installer used.
