We are in the processing of picking the finishing touches for our addition. We are going for the farmhouse feel. We want solid hardwood,5 inch, 4 will work if 5 doesn't fit in budget, medium brown with hints of grey. Nothing with red, yellow, orangey tones. Would love some distressing, handscraping, character to the wood. So far everything Ive seen and loved has been out of our budget, which we are trying to keep under $8 a sqft, or engineered which we don't want. So 2 things, does anyone have any recommendations on a floor they have used that fits our criteria? 2. we have seen a few floors by Paramount that fit our needs but I can hardly find any pictures or reviews for them, does anyone have any info/feedback on Paramount brand? TIA!
