Pawpaws in Northern VA

Okay, I hope this is the year I can harvest some pawpaw fruit. I have two trees about 7 years old and 5 feet tall, one Shenandoah and one Susquehanna. On Easter Sunday, using a small artist brush, I hand-pollinated each tree with the pollen collected from the other. So far the Shenandoah has shown small baby fruit, but not the Susquehanna. Here are some pictures.

Good luck! They are pretty trees, and yours look to be especially nicely branched. I had naturally occurring pawpaws at my old house. It was fun to keep an eye on the developing fruit all summer, trying at the end to decide -- is today the day to pick it? If I leave it overnight, will a possum get it before I do? A couple times, when a fruit "went missing", it would be on the ground beneath the tree. All good.
