What are you doing with the floor? Keeping it the same? A whole brick wall plus the stone tile can be a bit much. I like that the mantle breaks the brick pattern up a little. I would definitely accentuate that break. The existing cream color is actually a good match with that blue. Maybe work around that, painting the mantle a darker grey or brown within the scheme.

Installing a flat base like drywall over and decorating with a beautiful venetian plaster finish as a accent wall. Will be beautiful. Justino

The floor will be an Arctic Grey Laminate flooring. And we also thought putting up a railroad tie from, a barn up for the mantel

we are also planning on putting the tv up there.
