Are the chairs comfortable without the cushions?

Some teak companies advertise that their chairs are comfortable even without cushions. Any insight on these chairs? Thank you! Rebecca

The chairs are comfortable without cushions and so they are offered with out cushions. The seat slats are very close to each other just like the back. Adding cushions add the level of comfort but yes it is comfortable still without cushions.
