While I'm at it.. here is a rose my mom just unearthed in a corner of the yard that my great grandfather used to garden. She says she sort of always knew it was there but time had simply reclaimed the area.

Any guesses? We think it only blooms in the spring, but I'll keep an eye on it this summer. It has a tall lanky habit and is climbing up a tree. The new growth is light green and whispy and the flowers are small.
